2 cucumbers
½ cup vinegar (cider or white)
2 Tb. water
½ tsp. salt
3 Tb. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
3–4 Tb. fresh dill, chopped
Thinly slice both cucumbers. Combine rest of ingredients, pour the dressing over the sliced cukes, and mix. Cover with plastic wrap, and let it stand for 3 hours, mixing occasionally.
